Dues

Dues are used for legal fees, arbitration, safe front for negotiations, job protection, literature, meetings and more. At this time dues at 2.5x pay hours a month, AND are negotiable for all, including contingents.

Average length of negotiating a first time union contract - 465 days

With a union contract, organizations have to bargain “in good faith” with US to meet on an agreement. If they stall or continually block us they will meet repercussions.

Average contract length 3-5 years

You choose coworkers that will be at the negotiating table with the Teamsters to aid them.

All things in our contract are decided by a vote: you will not vote for something that will offer you less than what you are receiving now.
