We have the right to organize!

Organizing with the Teamsters is not just our right - it’s our path to job security and gaining the dignity and respect we deserve.

  1. Organize our union and join the Teamsters! Hospitals cannot prevent, coerce, or fire/demote us for becoming Teamsters.

  2. Talk to our co-workers about our union. Hospitals cannot impost restrictions to prevent us from discussing union activity with our co-workers

  3. Speak with Teamsters representatives without reprisal. We have the right to speak freely about all the benefits that organizing with the Teamsters could provide for all of us.

  4. Distribute literature about joining the Teamsters. We have the right to distribute flyers, posters, and other materials in common areas like break rooms.

  5. Wear union buttons/lanyards. Know Your Rights! You have the right to wear union pins and lanyards at work! The National Labor Relations Board pins and lanyards at work! The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) supports your freedom to showcase union affiliations through insignia, confirming that such expressions are protected activities under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).
